About the International Clown Festival

For over 15 years, the International Clown Festival has been on a mission to bring the world's finest clown artists to India and celebrate the universal language of laughter.

The Story Behind the Festival

The International Clown Festival was founded in 2010 with a dream—to introduce India to the rich tradition of international clowning and create a world-class family entertainment experience where children and adults could laugh together.

What began as a bold idea has grown into India's premier international family entertainment festival, welcoming award-winning performers from across the globe and presenting hundreds of performances in theatres, schools, malls, hotels and communities across the country.

Every edition celebrates creativity, imagination and human connection through visual comedy, music, juggling, acrobatics and interactive storytelling.

Martin "Flubber" D'Souza

Founder & Festival Director

Martin "Flubber" D'Souza is one of India's most respected professional clowns and family entertainers. With more than three decades in live entertainment and performances across seven countries, he founded the International Clown Festival to build a platform where Indian audiences could experience the very best of international clowning.
